Stephen Price

Stephen Price is an Investment Director at BGF based in Cardiff, where he provides growth capital to early-stage and mid-market businesses. Before joining the £2.5 billion investment firm, he spent over five years at Tata Steel in technical and commercial management roles. He holds an EngD in Materials Engineering from Swansea University and a BEng in Mechanical Design, Materials and Manufacture from the University of Nottingham. Throughout his tenure in venture capital, Price has originated and executed dozens of transactions ranging from £1 million to £15 million across the technology, manufacturing, and life sciences sectors. He currently sits on the board of directors for at least three portfolio companies, overseeing corporate governance and operational initiatives.
