Stephen Lake

Stephen Lake is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Jetson, an artificial intelligence consumer robotics company based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Prior to establishing Jetson in 2022, he served as the Co-founder and CEO of Thalmic Labs, a Y Combinator alumni enterprise that secured over $120 million in venture funding from prominent investors including Intel Capital. Thalmic Labs subsequently rebranded as North and developed advanced augmented reality smart glasses before being acquired by Google in 2020 for approximately $180 million. At Jetson, Lake recently closed a $10 million seed round and established a strategic chip technology partnership with ARM to support the commercial development of the Jetson One home robot.
