STEPHEN GRINICH

Stephen Grinich is the CEO and Founder of HealthSpark, an artificial intelligence healthcare technology startup based in San Francisco, California. He established the company in 2024 alongside his former Carleton College classmate Jonah Tuchow, subsequently launching the platform with one employee as part of the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch. HealthSpark develops an AI-native software platform designed to automate administrative workflows for independent physical therapy practices, specifically targeting billing, patient onboarding, clinical documentation, and scheduling. Prior to founding HealthSpark, Grinich worked as a software engineer at the prominent digital health companies Rad AI and 98point6. He holds a Master of Translational Medicine awarded jointly by UC Berkeley and UCSF, alongside an undergraduate degree in computer science. His current professional focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to streamline clinical operations and support independent healthcare providers.
