Stephen DiBartolomeo

Stephen DiBartolomeo is a Principal at Scout Ventures and the Cofounder and President of Chiplytics, based in Austin, Texas. At Scout Ventures, he focuses on early-stage investments in frontier technology, specifically targeting hardware and software products across the sustainability, security, and mobility sectors. Through Chiplytics, he develops automated inspection tools designed to identify fake semiconductors and secure the global microelectronics supply chain. Prior to his career in venture capital and entrepreneurship, he served as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy, becoming a founding member of the Texas Venture Alliance in March 2023. His current focus centers on leveraging his military background to advance critical hardware infrastructure and dual-use technologies.
