Stephen Curtis

Stephen Curtis is the Senior Director of New Ventures at ACS BrightEdge, the impact venture capital arm of the American Cancer Society. Previously, he served as a Managing Director at MPM Capital, managing a $100 million Oncology Innovations Fund alliance with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute that featured a $26 million philanthropic component. His corporate background includes working as the Senior Director of Business Development at Eli Lilly and Company, focusing on venture partnerships, and handling technology evaluation and licensing at Reata Pharmaceuticals. Curtis also co-led early-stage healthcare investments for Bioscience Ventures at 2M Companies, held interim operating roles within portfolio startups, and served on advisory boards for the Milken Institute’s FasterCures.
