Stephen Allott

Stephen Allott is the Venture Partner Emeritus at Seedcamp, based in London, United Kingdom. He previously served as President, Chief Financial Officer, and board director at Micromuse, scaling the software business to 800 employees before its NASDAQ initial public offering. Additionally, he worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company and held senior management roles at Sun Microsystems and Xerox. Through his advisory work at Seedcamp, he has supported over 500 early-stage technology companies, including nine unicorns. In the public sector, he helped the UK Government’s G-Cloud Digital Marketplace reach over £4 billion in cumulative sales and increased small and medium enterprise participation in central procurement from 6% to 27%. A founder of the Cambridge University Computer Lab Ring, his current focus centers on enterprise software scaling, public-sector digital transformation, and artificial intelligence innovation.
