Stephan Schubert

Stephan Schubert is the Managing Partner at STS Ventures GmbH, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Prior to establishing his current investment vehicle, he operated as a serial entrepreneur who founded and successfully exited four distinct companies, including the financial portal OnVista and IS.Teledata AG. He initially began his professional career working as an Associate at McKinsey & Company after completing his formal education at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Operating as a highly active business angel since the late 1990s, Schubert has financed numerous technology-driven startups and held lead investor or board member positions at consumer brands such as Emma – The Sleep Company and audibene. His current professional focus centers on deploying pre-seed and seed capital to support emerging technology enterprises throughout the broader German internet industry.
