Stephan Rauscher

Stephan Rauscher is an Earlybird-X Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital based in Munich, Germany, where he leads investments in early-stage deep-tech and university spin-out companies. Since joining the firm in July 2020, he has directed the Earlybird-X and Uni-X funds to provide growth financing for European technology startups. Prior to his current role, Rauscher served as Co-Founder and Managing Director at 5P Capital and worked as Director of Europe Business Development and Operations at UBS Wealth Management. He previously gained corporate strategy experience as a Management Consultant in the financial services practice at Accenture. His academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University and a Certified Private Equity Analyst qualification from the Technical University of Munich. Rauscher currently focuses on bridging complex academic research and commercialization by funding early-stage pan-European deep-tech ventures.
