Stephan Morais

Stephan Morais is the Co-Founder and Managing General Partner of Indico Capital Partners, a venture capital firm based in Lisbon, Portugal. Before establishing Indico in 2019, he served as an executive board member at Caixa Capital, where he led international venture capital investments for an entity with up to €700 million under management. His earlier corporate career includes tenures as the Chief Executive Officer of Temahome from 2006 to 2009 and as Chief of Staff to the CEO of EDP. Morais holds a civil engineering degree from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and he was notably appointed a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010. Drawing on more than 20 years of operational and financial experience, his current investment strategy focuses on scaling sustainable technology companies across global markets.
