Stela Tong is the co-founder of DeepAware AI, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup currently based in San Francisco, California. As a second-time entrepreneur, she previously spent three years collaborating with co-founder Jerry Huang to develop second-level energy optimization systems for industrial factories. Tong established DeepAware AI in 2025 to build reinforcement learning schedulers and automation tools designed to improve data center efficiency, with early simulations demonstrating up to a 15 percent reduction in energy consumption. The two-person company is participating in the Y Combinator Spring 2025 batch and has validated its core technology alongside industry leaders from Oracle and Meta AI at the Harvard Green AI Summits. Her current professional focus centers on integrating real-time market data, anomaly detection, and robotics to optimize power consumption and operational workflows across modern AI data centers.
