Steffen Reinecke

Steffen Reinecke is a Partner at eCAPITAL Entrepreneurial Partners based in Münster, Germany. In this role, he drives the investment strategy for a venture capital firm managing over €400 million, focusing primarily on deep tech, cleantech, and cybersecurity startups. He has served as a Board Observer for several portfolio companies, including Heliatek, Brighter AI Technologies, and Creapaper, while overseeing notable exits such as the 2021 acquisition of envelio by E.ON and the 2022 acquisition of IPlytics by RELX Group. Prior to his venture capital career, he completed a master's thesis at Beiersdorf, worked in business development for smart grids in China, and gained early experience through roles at TUV SUD and Nexans. Reinecke holds a Master of Science degree from RWTH Aachen University and currently focuses on scaling enterprise B2B software and sustainability technologies globally.
