Stefano Galiasso

Stefano Galiasso is a Vice President at Energy Capital Ventures based in Chicago, Illinois, where he develops investment theses and executes deal flow for the firm. Before joining the venture capital sector, he spent over a decade working in energy engineering and consulting, including a tenure as Principal at the Energy Resources Center where he expanded its energy efficiency group. Galiasso subsequently transitioned into venture capital, serving as a deal flow lead at New Stack Ventures and an Associate at the G. Schultz Innovation Fund. He holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, alongside a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. His current investment focus centers on climate technology, decarbonization, and the digital transformation of the natural gas industry.
