Stefan Zheng

Stefan Zheng is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Mercura, a Y Combinator-backed startup based in Germany. Prior to this role, he worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he focused on improving operational efficiency across more than 15 manufacturing plants. He previously served as a Product Manager at early-stage startups including sento.io and Ivy, and gained venture capital experience as an investor at Cherry Ventures. Zheng also conducted academic research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, developing early GPT solutions, and at Harvard Business School. At Mercura, part of the YC W25 cohort, he leads product development for software that reduces quote and order automation times from days to minutes. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline sales operations for wholesale distributors and manufacturers in the HVAC sector.
