Stefan Raghavan

Stefan Raghavan is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Formula Insight, a financial technology startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Backed by Y Combinator as part of its Summer 2024 cohort, the two-employee company develops a B2B equity research platform for institutional investors. Under his technical leadership, the platform integrates FactSet data to automatically analyze complex Excel financial models, SEC filings, and key performance indicators. Prior to transitioning into the financial technology sector, Raghavan worked as an aerospace engineer at SpaceX, where he contributed to the development of the Falcon 9 and Starship rocket engines. He also gained engineering experience building drone systems at Zero Aviation. His current professional focus centers on applying his background in scaling complex engineering systems to streamline data workflows and automate investment analysis for the financial sector.
