Stefan Mitu

Stefan Mitu is a Venture Partner at VU Venture Partners and a Senior Consultant at EY. At VU Venture Partners, he evaluates early-stage technology startups for a firm that sources over 20,000 companies annually through a network of more than 70 investors and previously achieved a 72% internal rate of return on its 2018 vintage fund. He also serves as a Venture Partner at Erez Capital, focusing his investment thesis on the FinTech, Climate Tech, Enterprise SaaS, and Consumer sectors. Prior to his current venture capital roles, Mitu spent more than 10 years as a consultant at Accenture, specializing in systems integration and strategic leadership. He earned a finance degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 2022. His professional background combines extensive corporate consulting experience with a current focus on identifying early-stage technology enterprises.
