Stefan Leermann

Stefan Leermann is the Managing Director at Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) and S-Beteiligungen Leipzig, where he oversees venture investments for Sparkasse Leipzig in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. He brings over 25 years of professional experience in venture capital and private equity, having started his financial career in 1997 by leading exit and funding operations at Sachsen LB Corporate Finance Holding GmbH. Leermann later served as the Head of Investments at Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf and the Managing Director of S-Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, he gained direct entrepreneurial operating experience by managing PER Flucht und Rettungsleitsysteme GmbH between 2008 and 2011, and he holds an economics degree from Ruhr University Bochum. His current investment focus centers on providing early stage venture capital funding to regional technology startups, and facilitating strategic funding and exits for innovative midsized companies.
