Stefan Kruger

Stefan Kruger is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Lua Global Inc., an enterprise-grade artificial intelligence platform developer. Backed by Y Combinator and launched alongside Lorcan O Cathain, the company provides infrastructure that enables mid-market enterprises and developer agencies in the United States and internationally to deploy automated AI agents reliably. Prior to establishing Lua, Kruger spent nearly a decade as the Vice President of Engineering at Paystack, a financial technology company focused on the rapidly growing African market. During his tenure, he led the scaling of the company's payment infrastructure across the continent, culminating in Paystack's strategic corporate acquisition by Stripe. With between 15 and 20 years of experience building technology companies in emerging markets, his career focuses on developing resilient systems, orchestration tools, and accessible AI infrastructure for the broader mid-market sector.
