Stefan Brunner is the Managing Partner at Fly Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. Before transitioning to the venture capital industry, he studied computer science at ETH Zurich and held senior product leadership roles at Rocket Internet. He also co-founded and served as the chief executive officer of Rodenstock Digital, a technology company that was ultimately acquired. At Fly Ventures, Brunner manages over €200 million in assets under management and has executed more than 50 investments, including backing notable European startups like Personio, Taxfix, and DeepL's Series C funding round. In March 2024, he led the successful closing of the firm's €165 million Fund III to further support emerging technology ventures. Brunner's current investment focus centers on early-stage SaaS, financial technology, developer tools, and climate technology across the broader European startup ecosystem.
