Stefan Blom is a Partner at the early-stage venture capital fund Pale Blue Dot, based in Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden. Before joining the firm in January 2023, he served as a Partner at Northzone from 2015 to 2022 and held earlier investment roles at Creandum. During his extensive tenure in the European venture capital industry, Blom has built a portfolio of more than 20 companies and participated in notable transactions, including the $2.2 billion acquisition of iZettle by PayPal in 2019. He recently led an investment in the $1.2 billion Series B funding round for the Swedish climate technology startup Northvolt in 2024. Holding a Master of Science in Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Blom currently focuses his investments on scaling pre-seed and seed-stage startups across the climate tech, fintech, and software sectors.
