Stefan Bary

Stefan Bary is currently a Managing Partner at Peak, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Prior to joining Peak in 2015, he established his professional career in corporate finance at First Dutch advisory and subsequently directed the entrepreneur-backed Javest Investment Fund. Working alongside co-founder Johan van Mil and partner David Zwagemaker, Bary helps oversee a €125 million venture fund that has executed more than 50 investments across the European market. He targets seed to Series A funding rounds across the software as a service, digital marketplace, and platform sectors, typically writing initial equity tickets ranging from €250,000 to €4 million per portfolio company. Bary currently focuses on leveraging his extensive international background in corporate fundraising, management buyouts, and complex corporate valuations to provide deep data-driven financial and strategic support to scaling European technology founders.
