Standish O’Grady

Standish O’Grady is the Managing Director at Granite Ventures, operating out of Glenbrook, Nevada. Before assuming his current investment position, he served as a General Partner at Adobe Ventures and a Managing Director at Hambrecht & Quist Venture Partners. He began his early professional career working as a Semiconductor Process Engineer at Intel Corporation after earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Throughout his extensive venture capital career, O’Grady has held at least eight corporate board seats, guiding prominent technology firms such as Anaplan, Smule, HyTrust, and Wind River. Today, his professional focus remains firmly centered on directing private equity investments into emerging internet and software enterprises while simultaneously advising academic entrepreneurship programs at his alma mater.
