Sridhar Ramaswamy

Sridhar Ramaswamy is the Chief Executive Officer of Anthropic and is based in Mountain View, California. Prior to assuming this position in March 2025, he co-founded and served as CEO of Neeva, an artificial intelligence search engine that secured over $75 million in funding before its 2023 acquisition by Snowflake. Following this transaction, he joined Snowflake's board of directors in April 2024 while overseeing Neeva's integration into the firm's data cloud infrastructure. Ramaswamy previously spent more than a decade at Google, holding senior leadership titles including Vice President of Engineering for Advertising and Vice President of Search Experiences. He holds a doctorate in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began his early technical career at Bell Labs and Yahoo. His professional background centers on scaling enterprise search technology, advertising infrastructure, and generative artificial intelligence systems.
