Sören Schuster

Sören Schuster is currently a Managing Director at both Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen and CFH Management GmbH, operating out of Leipzig, Germany. A physicist by training, he initiated his thirty years of experience in venture capital and fund management in 1996 at the Leipzig branch of Technologieholding. Schuster subsequently expanded his international investment expertise by joining Sofinnova Ventures in San Francisco, California. Following the strategic merger of Technologieholding with the British private equity firm 3i Group, he returned to Europe to work across the Berlin and Stuttgart offices of 3i Germany until 2005. From 2006 to 2007, he held a role at Triangle Venture Capital Group, dedicating his efforts to financing early-stage technology spin-offs originating from university research programs. Today, his primary professional focus remains centered on executing early-stage technology investments and driving the commercialization of complex academic innovations.
