Soren M. Rasmussen

Soren M. Rasmussen is a Partner at Vækstfonden based in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he focuses on growth capital investments across the software, fintech, and cleantech sectors. Before his promotion to Partner in 2023, he served as an Investment Director at the firm for six years following earlier corporate finance and advisory roles at Danske Bank. Throughout his venture capital career, Rasmussen has directed or participated in more than 20 transactions totaling over DKK 1 billion, including backing the successful financial technology unicorn Pleo. In the first quarter of 2025, he notably led a DKK 100 million investment in the emerging enterprise technology company Sana. With a master's degree in economics and business administration from Copenhagen Business School, Rasmussen currently focuses on providing Series A and later-stage growth equity to scaling Danish technology enterprises.
