Sophie Stenbeck

Sophie Stenbeck is a General Partner and Co-Founder at Max Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City. She brings 15 years of experience as an impact investor to the fund, which targets early-stage startups operating across the digital health, digital media, and digital commerce sectors. Beyond her venture capital activities, Stenbeck serves on the board of directors for Penske Media Corporation, a global publishing and media organization managing over 30 brands. As an entrepreneur, she previously co-founded Corro, a venture-backed e-commerce platform for horse owners, contributing to a Max Ventures team that has collectively co-founded seven venture-backed companies.
