Sonia Hallen

Sonia Hallen is the Investment Director of Venture and Growth at Gilde Healthcare, where she oversees strategic capital allocations across the therapeutic and healthtech sectors. Before joining the investment firm in 2024, she served as a Vice President at EQT Life Sciences, managing multiple therapeutics-focused venture funds and holding corporate board positions at Evommune, ViCentra, and NOBI. Earlier in her professional career, she worked as a strategy consultant within Accenture’s life sciences practice and founded two distinct startup companies focused on digital health and infectious disease diagnostics. She holds a PhD in regenerative medicines from Imperial College London, an MSc in Biotechnology from EPFL, and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in Canada. Her current professional focus remains on advancing biotechnology and medical technology through early-stage venture capital and strategic life sciences investments.
