Songyee Yoon

Songyee Yoon is the Managing Partner at Chamaeleon, an early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2021, and the President and Chief Strategic Officer at NCSOFT. Before joining NCSOFT in 2008, she worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and served as Vice President of Communications Intelligence at SK Telecom, where she developed artificial intelligence-driven data services. At NCSOFT, Yoon founded the corporate AI Center and directed the publisher's global expansion into seven countries across three continents. She holds a doctorate in computational neuroscience from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was appointed a visiting innovation scholar for 2023, alongside degrees from KAIST and Santa Clara University. Additionally, she serves on advisory boards for Stanford HAI and the Carnegie Endowment. Her current investment and strategic focus centers on early-stage consumer software, frontier technology, and digital entertainment platforms.
