Somshubhro (Som) Pal Choudhury

Somshubhro (Som) Pal Choudhury is a Partner at Bharat Innovation Fund, a $100 million venture capital firm, based in Bangalore, India. Before joining the fund, he served as the Managing Director of Analog Devices India, a subsidiary of the $12 billion global semiconductor enterprise, and held the position of Global Product Management and Marketing Director at NETGEAR. His two-decade career in Silicon Valley also includes management and engineering roles at Cadence Design Systems and serving as the first employee at the early IoT startup American Grid. Choudhury holds an MBA from the Wharton School and engineering degrees from IIT Kharagpur and North Carolina State University. In addition to his investment role, he currently sits on the boards of PlayShifu and FireCompass. His current focus centers on deeptech, semiconductor, and intellectual property-driven startups emerging from the Indian technology ecosystem.
