Solomon Hailu

Solomon Hailu is a Partner at March Capital based in Santa Monica, California. He joined the firm in September 2020 and leads early-stage investments across artificial intelligence applications, vertical software, and financial technology. Hailu currently holds board seats at portfolio companies including Extend, Gr4vy, and Overjet, and was recognized on the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for venture capital. Prior to his current role, he served as a Principal at Tusk Venture Partners, where he invested in early-stage technology startups, and began his career as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at Lazard. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, where he serves on the McIntire Young Alumni Board, and is a Class 28 Kauffman Fellow. Hailu currently focuses on executing deal sourcing, conducting diligence, and providing portfolio support for emerging software companies.
