Solène Brébant

Solène Brébant is an Investor at Balderton Capital, focusing on early-stage technology investments across various funding stages. She joined the venture capital firm's investment team in 2022 after building her expertise in financial technology. Previously, Brébant served as an Analyst at BlackFin Tech, a specialized fund executing seed to growth deals in the fintech space. Her earlier experience includes an internship with the corporate venture capital arm of MAIF, evaluating opportunities in insurtech, edtech, and mobility, alongside operational work at the French mobile payment application Pumpkin. She holds a dual Master's degree in Management with a Corporate Finance focus from Grenoble Ecole de Management and Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, plus a Master's in Business Law. Brébant currently leverages her academic background and operational experience to identify emerging technology startups across the European market.
