Sofia Santos

Sofia Santos is currently a Partner at Faber, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Portugal. She initially joined the organization as an Investment Manager in January 2016 before being promoted to her current partnership position in January 2019. Working alongside Managing Partner Alexandre Barbosa and investor Niklas Koerner, she directs capital toward emerging opportunities within the broader internet and technology industries. Prior to her venture capital career, she built a foundation in social and organizational psychology through academic studies completed between 2002 and 2006. She subsequently earned a postgraduate degree in foresight, strategy, and innovation in 2010, followed by a master's degree in social and solidarity economics in 2019. Santos currently focuses her professional investment practice on impact investing, specifically targeting early-stage entrepreneurial ventures operating within the science, digital, climate, and ocean sectors.
