Sofia Dahoune is currently a Partner at daphni, where she focuses on deep tech venture capital investments. She began her career in 2012 at Bpifrance Investissement working on private equity and digital ventures before co-founding the circular economy startup Little Panda in 2016. Dahoune later served as Head of Startup Programs at École Polytechnique, supporting more than 20 deep tech projects, and subsequently joined Elaia, where she worked from 2018 to 2023. During her tenure as a Partner and Investment Director at Elaia, she led investments in over 10 startups, including Alice&Bob, Aqemia, and Harfanglab. Additionally, she advises the World Bank and UM6P while lecturing on innovation and entrepreneurship at ENS Ulm. Her current focus and investment background center on science-based entrepreneurship and early-stage deep tech companies across artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and agricultural technology.
