Slava Rubin

Slava Rubin is the Managing Partner at Humbition, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to his current role, he co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Indiegogo from 2011 to 2018, where he helped facilitate over $1 billion in funding across more than 15 million campaigns. He previously held early roles at Eventbrite and earned a degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. At Humbition, Rubin recently closed a $50 million debut fund in 2024 to back seed and pre-seed technology startups, building a portfolio of over 20 investments while frequently speaking at industry events like TechCrunch Disrupt. His current focus centers on supporting early-stage consumer internet and hardware ventures, including recent advisory roles with emerging artificial intelligence hardware startups.
