Simon Shannon

Simon Shannon is the Managing Partner at Conventus Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in London, United Kingdom. He holds an engineering degree from University College London and previously served in investment roles at prominent venture firms, including Seedcamp and Index Ventures. Throughout his career, Shannon has managed investments across more than 50 portfolio companies, contributing to notable technology exits such as the fintech company Wise and Darktrace. At Conventus Capital, which currently maintains approximately €150 million in assets under management, he recently oversaw the closing of a €100 million Fund III in the first quarter of 2026 and led a 2024 Series A investment in the cybersecurity startup Cyera. His current professional focus centers on identifying and funding early-stage European technology startups operating specifically within the software-as-a-service, financial technology, enterprise software, and artificial intelligence sectors.
