Simon Blanchard is the Dean's Professor and Professor of Marketing at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business in Washington, D.C. He holds a PhD in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University and concurrently serves as a specialized subject-matter expert for the economic consulting firm Analysis Group. Blanchard has received multiple industry accolades, including the American Marketing Association’s Robert J. Lavidge Global Marketing Research Award and recognition as a Marketing Science Institute Scholar in both 2017 and 2023. He also operates as an Associate Editor for four major academic publications, specifically including the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Research, and the Journal of Consumer Research. His current focus centers on applying econometric analysis, survey methodologies, and experimental research design to advise corporate organizations on consumer financial trade-offs, digital marketing strategy, and emerging fintech development.
