Simita Bose

Simita Bose is a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners and Managing Partner at SBMC, based in the Bethesda, Maryland area. Before assuming her current positions in 2020, she spent a decade as an Investment Partner at Novak Biddle Venture Partners from 2010 to 2020, while concurrently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Board Director at Centrifuge Systems between 2013 and 2019. Earlier in her professional career, Bose held Principal roles at The Boeing Company and Deloitte & Touche LLP, and also worked as an Advisor at Booz Allen Hamilton. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. Her current investment focus centers on backing financial technology, investment platforms, and financial services companies operating from the pre-seed through Series A and expansion stages.
