Siggi Simonarson

Siggi Simonarson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BuildBuddy, an enterprise software development startup located in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the company to optimize software build processes for engineering teams and successfully led the business through the Y Combinator Winter 2020 cohort. Prior to launching BuildBuddy, Simonarson spent several years working at Google, where he steadily advanced from a Software Engineering Intern to a Senior Software Engineer. During his tenure at the multinational technology company, he also co-founded and developed experimental software projects within Area 120, Google's specialized internal startup incubator. Today, he oversees corporate strategy and product development at his current venture as they actively expand their engineering workforce. His professional background is rooted in software engineering, with a current focus on delivering developer tools that accelerate productivity and streamline complex build environments.
