Siddartha Krishnan

Siddartha Krishnan is a Principal at The Venture Collective based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Since joining the firm in January 2025, he has focused on pre-seed and seed-stage investments across artificial intelligence, fintech, and climate tech, recently leading a seed investment in the AI logistics startup Waabi. Across his career, Krishnan has backed more than 20 startups through his firm's portfolio and maintains an active personal angel investing practice with over 10 additional companies. Prior to his current role, he served as a Venture Fellow at TenOneTen Ventures and earned an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto. His investment approach leverages his early operational experience in product management to support technical founders in developing go-to-market strategies and scaling early-stage enterprise software businesses.
