Sid Kasbekar

Sid Kasbekar is the Managing Partner at Abacus.AI, an enterprise artificial intelligence infrastructure company based in San Francisco, California. Under his leadership, the firm reached a valuation exceeding $1 billion following a $40 million Series B funding round in 2023. Prior to his current position, he held engineering leadership roles at Cruise Automation, an autonomous vehicle developer acquired by General Motors, and conducted technical research at UNSW Australia. He graduated cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Economics, and holds additional engineering degrees from UNSW. As an active deep tech venture investor, he has financially backed more than 20 early-stage artificial intelligence startups. Kasbekar currently focuses on bridging technical innovation with business strategy to scale enterprise AI and deep tech infrastructure.
