Shunsuke Nakahama

Shunsuke Nakahama is a Partner and member of the Portfolio Group for the Asia Pacific Private Equity team at Bain Capital. Since joining the investment firm in 2010, he has specialized in portfolio management and the execution of operational improvements for various portfolio companies across the broader Asian market. Prior to his tenure at Bain Capital, Nakahama worked as a consultant at the Tokyo office of McKinsey and Company. In this advisory role, he focused heavily on turnaround implementation, operational restructuring, and performance enhancement initiatives specifically tailored for capital intensive industries. He completed his higher education in Japan, earning both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tokyo. His current focus remains centered on driving operational efficiencies and executing strategic turnarounds within the Asia Pacific private equity sector.
