Shruti Srivastava

Shruti Srivastava leads early-stage climate technology and sustainability investments at Avaana Capital in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She brings over 13 years of investment experience to her current position, having previously served as a Principal at the agritech venture capital fund Omnivore from September 2017 to March 2021. Before her tenure at Omnivore, Srivastava held investment roles at the Acumen Fund and the International Finance Corporation, focusing on clean energy, agriculture, and South Asian markets. Recognized among the Top 100 Women in Finance in September 2020, she completed her academic training at IIT Madras, earning a Bachelor of Technology and a Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering between 2005 and 2010. Her career centers on deploying venture capital to support innovative startups addressing sustainability, food systems, and energy transition challenges across the broader Indian market.
