Shreyas Kar is the Co-Founder of Golpo, a startup participating in the Y Combinator Summer 2025 cohort. He is an undergraduate student at Stanford University pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics, where he serves as a researcher at the Stanford Partnership in AI-Assisted Care within the Stanford Vision and Learning lab. In this capacity, Kar conducts research under the guidance of Professors Fei-Fei Li and Ehsan Adeli, focusing on artificial intelligence applications for healthcare. Previously, he worked with the PORTAL group at Harvard Medical School through the Research Science Institute, analyzing electronic health record discontinuity in predictive models. Additionally, Kar established Community AI, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to empower youth through artificial intelligence initiatives. His current focus centers on leveraging machine learning and computational models to address clinical and environmental challenges.
