Shourya Lala

Shourya Lala is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Third Chair, an enterprise legal technology startup currently based in Bangalore, India. Founded in 2024 alongside co-founder Yoav Zimmerman, Third Chair is backed by Y Combinator and develops automated workflow solutions for in-house legal teams. Prior to this venture, Lala founded Fello, a game-based consumer investment platform that participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 startup cohort. During his executive tenure, Fello successfully scaled to acquire over two million users and facilitated tens of millions of dollars in total investments. Earlier in his career, he engineered complex financial software solutions for institutional clients as a technologist at the global investment firm BlackRock. As a two-time Y Combinator alumnus, his core background centers on leveraging software engineering to build scalable consumer financial technology and enterprise legal applications.
