Shlomo Dovrat

Shlomo Dovrat is a General Partner at Viola Ventures, based in Herzliya, Israel. Promoted in 2023, he leads seed to Series B investments across Europe and the United States for the firm, which manages over $3.5 billion in assets. His venture capital portfolio consists of more than fifteen companies and includes notable exits through acquisitions by major technology corporations such as Cisco and PayPal. In 2024, he directed Viola Ventures' participation in a $25 million Series A funding round for the AI cybersecurity startup Lakera. Prior to his tenure as an Associate at Viola from 2016 to 2019, he worked in advisory services at PWC Israel and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University. Dovrat currently focuses on identifying and scaling early-stage transformative technologies within the cybersecurity, fintech, and enterprise software sectors.
