Shivesh Gupta

Shivesh Gupta is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Frekil, based in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. At the two-employee startup, which is currently participating in a Spring 2025 accelerator cohort, he drives technical execution, improves internal processes, and shapes overall corporate strategy to build an intelligence layer for clinical real-world data. Prior to launching Frekil, Gupta worked as a systems software engineer at Sony in Japan and subsequently declined a full-time engineering position at a high-frequency trading firm. He earned his engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2025, where he also led the university's web and coding club. His current focus centers on developing artificial intelligence workflows that accelerate medical data annotation and real-world evidence studies for pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, contract research organizations, and clinical researchers.
