Shiv Sakhuja

Shiv Sakhuja is the Co-founder of Athina AI, an artificial intelligence infrastructure platform focused on model reliability, monitoring, and evaluation. Before launching his current entrepreneurial venture, he worked as a software engineer at Google, where his scope of work involved developing complex machine learning systems for the Google Ad Recommendations and the consumer-facing Nest Platform. Prior to his tenure at Google, he contributed to natural language processing initiatives at Troops.ai, an enterprise software startup specializing in automated workplace chatbots that was subsequently acquired by Salesforce. Sakhuja completed his formal undergraduate education by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, graduating with the class of 2018. His professional background centers on building scalable machine learning infrastructure, optimizing recommendation systems, and developing specialized engineering tools for artificial intelligence model monitoring and optimization.
