Shishir Jakati

Shishir Jakati is the Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer of Helium, an artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco, United States. At Helium, he leads a four-person team developing machine learning software that automates user acquisition and revenue experimentation for clients in the engineering, product, and design sectors. The company, which participated in a Summer 2024 cohort alongside cofounders with prior experience at Uber and Meta, currently optimizes in-app paywall conversions for a social application with 20 million monthly active users. Prior to establishing Helium, Jakati served as a machine learning engineer at Amazon Alexa, where he developed predictive models to evaluate content and utterance quality, ultimately achieving a 10x reduction in cloud computing costs. His current focus centers on deploying large language models and machine learning operations to build self-improving software systems for growth optimization.
