Shiran Shalev

Shiran Shalev is a Partner at Battery Ventures, a prominent global venture capital and private equity firm, and is currently based in Tel Aviv, Israel. She originally joined the investment firm in 2013 and has spent over a decade specializing in venture capital allocations across multiple key technology sectors. Within her current mandate, Shalev directs institutional capital and strategic support for portfolio companies operating specifically within the application software, consumer technology, and infrastructure software markets. Before establishing her professional career in the venture capital industry, she completed her undergraduate education in the United States, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Today, Shalev focuses on leveraging her technical academic foundation and extensive institutional tenure to identify, evaluate, and scale emerging software enterprises across the competitive global technology ecosystem.
