Shimon Eckhouse

Shimon Eckhouse is a physicist turned entrepreneur and serial founder specializing in the development of laser and photonics technologies for the medical sector. He holds a PhD in physics from the University of California Irvine, as well as BSc and MSc degrees in physics from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. Eckhouse cofounded Syneron Medical, a pioneering aesthetic medical device company that traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker ELOS and eventually reached a multibillion dollar market capitalization.
