Shilpi Kumar

Shilpi Kumar is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Khoj Lab, a design strategy and innovation consultancy based in Chicago, United States. Bringing over 20 years of professional experience in human-centered design, she previously served as a Lead User Experience Researcher at both Herman Miller and GE Transportation. Kumar's academic background includes a Master of Design Methods from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master of Design from IIT Bombay, and a Bachelor of Architecture from BIT Mesra. Through her current firm, Khoj Lab, she has assembled a global, women-led consulting team capable of operating across six distinct international languages to execute complex research initiatives. Her ongoing professional focus centers on utilizing design-led methodologies to help enterprise leaders scale new product development and uncover new digital business growth opportunities.
